Phillips High School is proud to announce the recognition of Mr. Chris Farris as the Alabama Public Television Teacher of the Month for December 2023. This statewide Excellence in Education Award comes with a $500 grant to help supplement the area of the teacher’s preference. Mr. Farris teaches English in grades 10-12 and serves as our Art Liaison for Phillips High School. Additionally, he participates as the representative for the PHS Art Club as well as teaches Theater with Mrs. Kathy Scarberry. Congratulations, Mr. Farris, and thank you for all you do at PHS!
