If your child received an invitation to summer literacy/math camp, please return those papers by this Friday so we can finalize our number of students. Thank you!

We have had to move Field Day to Thursday due to rain coming in on Friday. Please see the flyer below for information!

3rd and 4th grade had the best time at the zoo yesterday!

Barry Kerr (Small Group Counselor), Bridget Perkins (School Based Mental Health Therapist), and Ashley Seaborn (Mental Health Services Coordinator - not shown) were recognized at today's board meeting for Mental Health Awareness Month. We are grateful to have them!

Mrs. Wilson would love to see some students complete some activities from the May Early Numeracy Calendar! Post a picture of you completing one of the activities in the comments for a special treat. #mathrules #omimath #amstiuna

3rd grade made mold fossils this week in their science class ❤️

Students were rewarded with a trip to the Trash Pandas ⚾️ game today for reaching the AR goal for their grade level! We are so proud of you all and hope you had a wonderful day. 📚

Due to the threat of severe weather, all Marion County Schools will be delayed two hours tomorrow, Thursday, May 9th. Be weather aware and stay safe!

We had an awesome time at the Trash Panda game today! AR rewards what a HIT!

Marion County Principals, Assistant Principals, and Central Office Administrators strive to be lifelong learners. We have participated in two years of administrative leadership training that involved both individual coaching at the school level and system whole group training. Kacy Pierce, Denise Woods, and Cheryl Capps were our trainers and mentors. During the process they have become partners and friends of Marion County Schools.

3rd grade is learning about different fossils. They made trace fossils yesterday!

Wishing our 5th and 6th graders and their chaperones safe travels as they head out for their trip to Chattanooga this morning! We hope you have a wonderful trip.

Big appreciation shout out to Mr. Tom Hill! Tom saw that the recent rain sent our grass into growing overdrive, and he spent his day with a weed-eater and lawn mower sprucing up our campus. We appreciate you so much, Tom! #ittakesavillage

Teacher Appreciation Week is coming up next week, May 6-10! We are so thankful for all of the wonderful teachers we have at PES! Be sure to "thank a teacher" next week. ❤️🐻

4th graders had the opportunity to study waves and explore density in their science class by attempting to mix oil and water. They discovered the oil layers on top of the water! #amsti4all

Mrs. Gray's 2nd graders got in on the Star"books" Cafe fun today as well. 📚 ☕️

What a wonderful day it was in 5th and 6th grade today participating in Star"books" Cafe!
