Let’s take a moment to celebrate someone who truly keeps our school running like a well-oiled machine — our secretary, Mrs. Doris! From answering phones with a smile, keeping up with the school's finances, comforting kids (and sometimes teachers), tracking down missing permission slips, and somehow always knowing everything— she does it ALL with patience and a whole lot of heart. Our school wouldn’t be the same without you. Thank you for being the calm in the chaos, the keeper of all the things, and the quiet hero behind the scenes. We see you. We appreciate you. And we’re so lucky to have you! Happy Administrative Professionals Day, Mrs. Doris!

Students in Mrs. Watts's 4th grade classes built acute, right, and obtuse angles using anglegs while reviewing their geometry standards. Then they went on a real-world angle scavenger hunt around the school. ❤️

ACAP Testing Begins Next Week – Students, Get Ready! Next week marks the beginning of ACAP testing for all students in grades 2-6. In preparation for these important assessments, we remind students to be well-rested and ready to give their best effort. Testing will begin promptly at 7:50 AM, so it’s crucial that students arrive on time and are in the classroom, ready to begin. To help motivate our students, we will be holding a daily drawing for $20 for students in grades 2-6 who are in the classroom and ready to start testing by 7:50 AM each day. We encourage all students to get a good night's sleep, arrive on time, and give their best effort during this important time. Best of luck to all our Bear Cubs! You will do GREAT!

Our students loved the reading of The Cat in the Cat by our favorite librarian, Mrs. Hill. The Cat himself and his Things made an appearance to make the reading extra special!
