The National Weather Service has put us under a level 3 threat of severe weather this afternoon. Therefore, all Marion County Schools will dismiss at 1:00 p.m. this afternoon in order to give our buses time to get all of our students home safely. Be weather aware, and stay safe!


Due to the threat of inclement weather conditions and the timeline of their arrival there will be NO Afterschool tomorrow Tuesday April 2nd. Stay weather aware!

Mrs. Gray's 2nd graders enjoyed using Lucky Charms to work on graphing skills. 🍀



4th graders investigated how to create waves by disrupting water in their science class this week. 🌊

Help our school have the most participation in the Office of Mathematics Improvement's "Spring is in the air" Math Challenge. Have your child take a picture of something involving math in the real world and follow the directions on the document below! Examples can include but are not limited to: road signs, buildings with shapes, angles on buildings, numbers on the radio, recipes, etc.

We will celebrate Saint Patrick's Day on Monday due to it falling on the weekend. Wear your green! 🍀


Mrs. Campbell's class learned about 4 leaf clovers for Saint Patrick's Day and Maddie Neville found one on the way to the buses this afternoon. 🍀

SLOW DOWN as the amber flashing caution lights are activated. STOP as the red lights and stop sign are activated.

4th graders in Mrs. Watts's class had the opportunity to build a closed circuit today. They observed the transfer of energy from the batteries to the light bulb. 💡






Students were sent home with a calendar fundraiser today. These will be due when we come back from spring break! Help us raise money for our school. 🐻❤️


Today was crazy socks day to go along with the book Fox in Socks! PES students enjoyed visits from special guest readers including our new SRO, Officer David.
