Don't forget about our Math & Literacy night coming up after spring break! We look forward to having our families on campus to participate in an evening of learning.

All Marion County Schools will be closed for Spring Break March 25-29, 2024. School will resume on Monday, April 1st. Have fun and stay safe!

Help our school have the most participation in the Office of Mathematics Improvement's "Spring is in the air" Math Challenge. Have your child take a picture of something involving math in the real world and follow the directions on the document below! Examples can include but are not limited to: road signs, buildings with shapes, angles on buildings, numbers on the radio, recipes, etc.

Congratulations to our students who participated and placed in the 4H 🍀 County Round-Up today! We are proud of you. ❤️🐻

We will celebrate Saint Patrick's Day on Monday due to it falling on the weekend. Wear your green! 🍀

Mrs. Campbell's class learned about 4 leaf clovers for Saint Patrick's Day and Maddie Neville found one on the way to the buses this afternoon. 🍀

Mrs. Gray's 2nd graders used whisper phones to practice reading today.📞 📕

STOPPING FOR A SCHOOL BUS:
SLOW DOWN as the amber flashing caution lights are activated. STOP as the red lights and stop sign are activated.
It's the LAW, and it helps keep our students SAFE!

That's a wrap on Read Across America Week! It was a Seuss-tastic week. 📚

4th graders in Mrs. Watts's class had the opportunity to build a closed circuit today. They observed the transfer of energy from the batteries to the light bulb. 💡

Students were sent home with a calendar fundraiser today. These will be due when we come back from spring break! Help us raise money for our school. 🐻❤️

Today was crazy socks day to go along with the book Fox in Socks! PES students enjoyed visits from special guest readers including our new SRO, Officer David.

It is almost time for Kindergarten Registration! (Please see the flyer for more information).

Make plans to attend our math night on April 8th for some fun family learning activities! @amstiuna

A newsletter was sent home with each child today with important information. Please be sure to read it so that you are aware of a few changes. Thank you!
