We’re cheering on HMS 5th grader Avery McCullough as she competes in the annual Pig Squeal tomorrow — good luck, Avery! The Pig Squeal brings together 4-H students from across the region to showcase and auction pigs they’ve raised since January. It’s more than just a show — it’s a hands-on lesson in animal care, responsibility, and dedication. Avery is one of 10 Marion County participants this year, and she’s been working hard every day to prepare. We’re proud of all her effort and wish her the best in the ring!

📚In celebration of Read Across HMS, we will introduce a daily masked reader event. Each teacher will receive a video featuring the masked 🎭reader to present to their homeroom class. Every student is required to cast their vote🗳️ on a Google form, guessing the identity of the masked reader. The student who accumulates the highest number of correct guesses throughout the week will be awarded a prize. Best of luck!🍀
