•Please remember that although absences for exams are counted by semester, the number of absences for truancy is for the entire school year.
o When a student is absent, an excuse must be turned in within 3 days of the student’s return to school.
o Once a student has reached 10 absences, all absences after that will only be excused with a medical or legal excuse.

❤️Red Ribbon Week, the oldest and most extensive drug prevention campaign in the country, began in 1985 in memory of DEA agent Enrique "Kiki" Camarena, who was murdered by drug traffickers. Purpose: The campaign seeks to inform individuals about the dangers ⚠️ of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs while encouraging a drug-free lifestyle. We want to express our gratitude to Chief Jordan Carter, SRO Scottie Belue, and a very special thank you to our guest speaker, Shane Petree. Mr. Petree is with the Self Recovery Medical Detox Center. Thank you for visiting and educating our children about staying drug-free.
