We have several jackets left in the gym if you recognize one let us know. 😊

Good afternoon PES family. It is with great sadness that we need to inform you that the Christmas play, scheduled for Thursday December 19, will be canceled. We are so sad! With the number of families that have Flu A, Flu B, Corona, Rhino, and Strep we want to eliminate the opportunity to spread any germs, so our Christmas holidays will be healthy and happy.
Have your child sing the songs they have learned over our holiday break.
Again No Christmas play December 19, 2024
Hope everyone has a healthy happy holiday break!

Due to the amount of students we have out with sickness, we will move our Polar Express Day to next week! Don't worry, tomorrow will stay pajama day. See the picture below for a few adjustments to next week's dress up schedule. 🎅🎄

Mrs. Gray's students are working on their measurement skills in 2nd grade, and Mrs. Watts's 4th graders have started division.

Mrs. Wilson will be offering monthly math bags to interested students and their families beginning after Christmas. Math bags will consist of engaging, grade level activities and games that you can do at home to help improve math skills. Everything you need to complete the activities and games will be included. Due to the cost and time involved in the preparation of the bags, an accountability/reflection piece will be required in order to receive the next month's bag. Please scan the QR code below to complete a short Google form if you are interested.

Mrs. Wilson would like to recognize and congratulate the 36 students that completed the Numeracy November math challenge! Students in grades pre-k through 6th worked hard over Thanksgiving break on their math skills by completing various activities. Congratulations to Leeah Adair for being the winner of the $25 Walmart gift card! Mrs. Gray's 2nd grade class and Mrs. Poe's 4th grade class also earned popsicle parties for the most participation. We are very proud of you all! (Not shown Maddox Milligan)

As some of you heard there was an accident this morning involving one of our buses. The bus grazed a tree. There were only a few students on the bus at the time of the accident and those students were checked out by our school nurse. We are thankful all our Bears are safe and unharmed!

🎶 It's the most wonderful time of the year! 🎶 🎅 🎄

Don't forget about Mrs. Wilson's math challenge! Turn your paper in by tomorrow and receive a small treat for participating and be entered for a chance to win a $25 gift card. Class with the most participation gets a popsicle party! Papers with challenges are posted below in case you've misplaced your paper. You can write down on a regular piece of paper what challenges were completed if needed.
