Tomorrow is day 2 of our ACAP math assessment! We can't wait for our little bears to show what they know. ❤️ 🐻

Names were placed in a drawing for being at school on time, showing their work, and using their time wisely on session 1 of the math ACAP assessment. Congratulations to these students for being the names selected from the drawing for their hard work! Each student received a gift card of their choice. We cant wait to do the same thing for tomorrow's math session. A HUGE thank you to the individuals who donated gift cards or money to purchase them!

All Marion County Schools' students will dismiss 1/2 day tomorrow, April 15, for a professional development/teacher workday. Buses will run at 11:30.

Tomorrow starts the math portion of ACAP testing for our students in grades 2-6! We know they are going to show up and show out tomorrow. Please see the flyer below for some test taking tips. We are so proud of how hard our bears have already been working!

📚✨ Happy Librarian Day! ✨📚
Today we celebrate our very special librarian—the one who opens the doors to imagination, knowledge, and adventure every single day! 💙

Tomorrow starts ACAP testing for grades 4-6. We know our students are going to do their very best and show everything they've learned this year! We had a fun pep rally today to kick off this week of testing. Thank you to the PHS cheerleaders and dancers from NADT for their performances today. We loved having our very own Dorian and Olivia come speak to the students as well. We also had a fun scooter race to end the pep rally (see comments for videos 🤪).

Mrs. Misner's first graders got the Easter weekend started early with a fun egg hunt on the baseball field! 🐣

Today we celebrate the heart of our schools—our incredible paraprofessionals! 💙
Your patience, dedication, and unwavering support make a difference in the lives of our students every single day. Whether you’re lending a helping hand, offering encouragement, or going the extra mile to ensure every child succeeds, your impact does not go unnoticed.
Thank you for all you do to support our teachers, uplift our students, and strengthen our school community. We are so grateful for the three of you!

Saint Patrick's Day fun in 4th! They also did a wonderful job cleaning up the school campus this week. 🍀

Our students worked hard to complete Mrs. Wilson's March Math Challenge! We are so proud of their hard work completing iReady Math lessons during the month of March. Ms. Barber's 3rd grade class was awarded with a popcorn party for having the most lessons passed with an 80% or higher. They finished with 215 lessons for the month. Way to go!

5th grade finished book two of the Endling series and completed their matchbook folders. 📕

6th grade finished their novel study of The Fort, and completed their “matchbook folders”. Students practiced visualization, characterization, and summary writing skills completing this activity.

All Marion County Schools will be closed March 23-27 for Spring Break. Have fun and stay safe!
