Congratulations to the MCHS boys and girls track teams. Boys are the 1A section three champions and girls were runner up.
We look forward to seeing them compete at the state meet May 6&7 in Cullman.
Balfour will be at MCHS Monday to deliver class rings to sophomores at 12:30. Those that have a balance need to pay with cash or a money order.
Balfour is offering a senior mug/ sunglasses combo for $10 cash as well.
Thank you to Mrs. Hawkins for speaking to our 8th graders and their parents last night. The Alabama High School Diploma, honors endorsement, career technical education, AP courses were all discussed.
Congratulations to Landon Morrow for being invited to the Top 100 AABC Scholastic Event. He will be going up against some of the best competition in the state in June at the Finley Center in Hoover.
Tomorrow is the last day for students to order field day shirts. The cost is $12 dollars. Field day is scheduled for May 16.
The section track meet is tomorrow at Winfield. Any students planning on attending other than the track team members must have a parent note allowing the student to check out.
Reminder there is a parent meeting tonight for current 8th graders at 6pm in the library.

Bracket for area tournament
There will be a meeting for current 8th graders and their parents Thursday night April 28 at 6pm in the all purpose room.
This meeting will cover diploma tracks for the 9th grade.
