This Friday, March 3rd, will be a Teacher Workday for all Marion County Schools. Students will not come to school on that day.
Dress in Red Day
Marion County Schools invites parents to a meeting concerning the district wellness policy on March 16, 2023, at 3:30 PM. The meeting is to be held at the Marion County Board of Education office, 188 Winchester Drive, Hamilton, AL.
Healthy choices at school help keep our students healthy and ready to learn. The wellness policy helps our schools create an action plan for nutrition and physical activity at school. Parents can share feedback to help ensure the policy is meeting the needs of the students.

Report cards for the 2nd Nine Weeks/1st Semester are coming home today. 7th and 8th graders will have a new category listed on their report, the X1 grade. This is their semester exam grade. HMS is hosting a Valentine's dance for our 7th and 8th grade students on Friday, February 10th, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in the HMS gym. The cost is $10 per person. We will have a live dj. Snacks and drinks will be provided for those attending. Dress is Sunday dress to semi-formal. Please keep the school dress code in mind when choosing what to wear. Dresses should come to the knee. Strapless or spaghetti straps will only be allowed if students are wearing a wrap or sweater. All proceeds from the dance will go to support our Arts program. No students from outside HMS are allowed to attend. This event is for 7th and 8th grade HMS students only. Any questions should be directed to Miss Jackson or our Arts instructor, Mrs. Alysse Beasley. #aggiearts #HMSStrong🐾❤️
