ALL SUPPORT POSITIONS for direct employment with the Marion County Board of Education will be posted on this webpage. Opportunities for employment with organizations other than the Marion County Board of Education are linked in the section below. Prospective employees will fill out a paper application and submit it to the Central Office.
Support positions require an Alabama Department of Education background check.
Open Positions
Many non-certified (support) positions are available through our sub-contractor, Spur Education, who provides its employees to the Marion County Board of Education in a wide range of clerical, instructional, and support roles. Substitute Positions
The Marion County Board of Education designates two days per semester for signing up new substitute teachers, support workers, lunchroom workers, and bus drivers.
