4th graders in Mrs. Watts's class had the opportunity to build a closed circuit today. They observed the transfer of energy from the batteries to the light bulb. 💡





Students were sent home with a calendar fundraiser today. These will be due when we come back from spring break! Help us raise money for our school. 🐻❤️

Today was crazy socks day to go along with the book Fox in Socks! PES students enjoyed visits from special guest readers including our new SRO, Officer David.

It's Read Across America Week! 📚

Mrs. Misner's science class took advantage of a windy day this week and used kites to continue their study of force, push vs. pull, and balanced vs. unbalanced forces.










There will be no school for Marion County students tomorrow, March 1st, 2024. This will be a workday for teachers.

Kindergarten registration is just around the corner on March 22nd!

Our 2nd graders have enjoyed learning about our presidents! They did research and presented their president to their class. ❤️ 🇺🇸



All Marion County Schools will be closed Monday, February 19, 2024 in observance of Presidents' Day.

We can't wait for the Fairy Tale Ball tomorrow during school for grades Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st. Bring a change of clothes if you wish to change out of your ball clothing! 🫅 🤴

Students in each class, 2nd-6th, with the highest percentage math score on the practice ACAP test were treated to an ice cream sundae bar with math coach, Mrs. Wilson. Way to go!







If your child will be receiving a gift with a balloon or something in a glass vase, they will be unable to bring these items on a bus. Please make arrangements for them to be picked up.
