There will be no after school tomorrow. There will also be no school on Friday in observance of Veteran's Day.

Tomorrow will be our fall festival during school hours. Students will visit various festival activities with their teachers throughout the day. Students will receive a hot dog, chips, and a drink with festival payment. Additional concessions will be available for purchase if you wish to send additional money. We will also still visit the lunchroom during lunch time. Students may wear a costume to school tomorrow. Masks will not be allowed except briefly for the costume contest first thing in the morning.
Our after school program will still be on for tomorrow afternoon as well.

September has officially been designated as School Attendance Awareness Month
2023. During this special event in our state and nation, real emphasis is being placed
on building greater student engagement, public awareness, and family support for
school attendance efforts.

A Message from Superintendent Ann West:
Due to the excessive heat forecast for the next few days, please help your child avoid dehydration by having them drink plenty of water.

💉Flu shots will be available to all Marion County students (except those with PEEHIP BCBS) on September 12th. Consent forms will be sent home soon. Please return them to your school nurse if you would like for your student to receive the flu vaccine. 💉

We hope our little Bears 🐻 had a great first day back at school!
Here are a few reminders.
Please return enrollment packets back as soon as possible! It's very important that we have all information to best take care of your children.
Afternoon dismissal: Grades 1-2 should be picked up at the front of the main building. Kindergarten and grades 3-6 should be picked up in front of the "new" building by the elementary gym. If 1st or 2nd graders have a sibling in the other grades, they may all be picked up together at the "new" building.
Thank you parents for bearing with us this afternoon during dismissal!
