We had a great time visiting with students, parents, and special guests at our first ELA night! Thank you to our students for the hard work you put into your projects. They were awesome! A big shout out to our ELA teachers for planning and organizing the event and to Mrs. Quinn for heading up the Book Fair! Thanks again to our special guests who took time out of their schedules to be there with us. We are already looking forward to next year's event! #read #bookfair23 #HMSStrong🐾❤️

HMS was proud to welcome State Superintendent of Education, Dr. Eric Mackey, to our school today. He, along with several special guests, toured the campus, visited several classrooms, met MJ, and interacted with our students. We hope you enjoyed your visit as much as we enjoyed having you! Thank you teachers and students for representing us well! #HMSStrong🐾❤️

"First Chapter Friday" in 6th grade with Mrs. Hall. What book are you reading right now? Let us know on the comments.

Please pardon our progress as work has begun in earnest on our new gym. Remember to exercise caution when coming in to HMS as construction vehicles are moving in and out during the school day. We ask that all visitors use the drive off Hwy 17 to enter the campus and to park in the parking lot beside the marquee sign. Thank you for your patience as we work to improve our school! #HMSStrong🐾❤️

Congratulations to Kylie Kendrick for being the first student to complete the Book Bingo Card from the Library!!! Great work!!!
