School will resume for Marion County students tomorrow, August 9th, and motorists will be sharing the road with school buses once again. Please allow additional time in your daily commute to accommodate more traffic, including buses, on the roadways. Our Transportation Department operates with our children’s safety as its number one priority. Please help them keep our children safe by keeping a watchful eye for school buses and being mindful of the law which pertains to them.

Our athletes volunteering their time this morning at the local food drive. It is awesome to see our athletes giving back to the community that supports them so much! Thank you!

Just a reminder that open house for 10th-12th graders is this evening from 5:00-7:00. You will need to enter the side gymnasium entrance.

Congratulation to Blaine McDuffa for winning the “Work Horse Award” at the University of Tennessee’s livestock judging camp this past weekend!

Yesterday, July 12th, we worked in the garden at Hackleburg Schools again. We removed weeds and planted squash, okra, peas and corn. We got lots of rain this morning so hopefully these seeds will sprout soon! But so will the weeds-feel free to come remove weeds anytime😎 Thank you to everyone who came to help last night! This is a great opportunity for our schools and community. Everyone is welcome to visit the garden, remove weeds and come to our organized work nights. The garden is located behind Hackleburg Elementary School and Hackleburg High School. We always need all the help we can get!

On June 30th we replanted the garden at Hackleburg Schools. We planted tomato, eggplant, cucumber and candy cane pepper plants. Thank you Ginger Tittle Eatman, RC&D Council, Hackleburg Elementary School, Hackleburg High School and everyone else who continue to help with this wonderful opportunity for our schools and community!
