Marion County Board of Education

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Shoals now serves Marion County and Marion County Schools through a school-based mentoring program that pairs high school students with elementary-aged children during the school day. High school Bigs spend 45 minutes each week visiting their elementary Littles, focusing on building character, being positive role models, providing encouragement and homework help, and developing leadership skills.
