2021 NEW SUBSTITUTE SIGN-UP DAYS
The Marion County Board of Education will be signing up new substitute teachers, support workers, lunchroom workers, and bus drivers on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 from 8:00am - 12 noon and 1:00pm - 3:30pm. The final day to sign up for the first semester will be Tuesday, August 3rd from 8:30am - 12 noon and 1:00pm to 3:30pm. There will be no other days for the first semester.
Second semester sign-up days will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 and Thursday, December 9, 2021 from 8:30am - 12 noon and 1:00pm - 3:30pm.
YOU MUST BRING YOUR DRIVER LICENSE, ORIGINAL SOCIAL SECURITY CARD WITH MATCHING LAST NAME, AND BANK DEPOSIT SLIP

Citizenship Form - Click Here complete and bring your ALABAMA driver license with you.
State Payment Center - Click Here pay for one certificate and bring the receipt with you.
ALL NEW SUBSTITUTE APPLICANTS MUST HAVE BEEN FINGERPRINTED AT LEAST ONE WEEK PRIOR TO SIGNING UP.
****Nearest fingerprint location to Hamilton is the Amity Insurance in Russellville or the UPS Store in Jasper (see website for other locations) The SHERIFF/JAIL does not do education fingerprints.
The Department of Education conducts fingerprinting and background checks through the Gemalto/3M corporation.
