Notice to Anyone Seeking Employment with the Marion County School System
Beginning on January 1, 2019, the Marion County School System will post ALL certified open positions via the Teach in Alabama website. Open positions can be viewed without registration. ALL CERTIFIED POSITIONS must be submitted via the Teach in Alabama website. No applications or resumes will be accepted at the Board's Central Office.
ALL SUPPORT POSITIONS will fill out a paper application available at the Central Office and submit it to the Marion County Board of Education at 188 Winchester Drive, Hamilton AL 35570. All support jobs require an Alabama Department of Education background check.

2020 NEW SUBSTITUTE SIGN-UP DAYS
The Marion County Board of Education will be signing up new substitute teachers, support workers, lunchroom workers, and bus drivers on Tuesday, July 9th and Monday, July 29th, 2019 from 8:00am to 3:30pm. The final day to sign up for the first semester will be Thursday, August 8th from 1:00pm to 3:15 pm. There will be no other days for the first semester.
Second semester sign-up days will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd and Wednesday, December 11th, 2019 from 8:30 to 3:00pm.
YOU MUST BRING YOUR DRIVER LICENSE, ORIGINAL SOCIAL SECURITY CARD WITH MATCHING LAST NAME, AND BANK DEPOSIT SLIP

The Department of Education conducts fingerprinting and background checks through the Gemalto/3M corporation.
