The Marion County Board of Education will be signing up new substitute teachers, support workers, lunchroom workers, and bus drivers for the second semester on Tuesday, December 3rd and Wednesday, December 11th, 2019 from 8:30 to 3:00pm. 

NEW STATE REQUIREMENTS -YOU MUST BRING:

1)  YOUR ALABAMA DRIVER LICENSE or US BIRTH CERTIFICATE or US PASSPORT

2)  BANK DEPOSIT SLIP or VOIDED CHECK

3)  ORIGINAL SOCIAL SECURITY CARD WITH MATCHING LAST NAME

4)  CLASSROOM SUBS ONLY -HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA or WRITTEN PROOF OF GRADUATION or ALABAMA GED

State Sub Application - Click Here complete and bring the application with you.

State Payment Center - Click Here pay for one certificate and bring the receipt with you.

ALL NEW SUBSTITUTE APPLICANTS MUST HAVE BEEN FINGERPRINTED AT LEAST ONE WEEK PRIOR TO SIGNING UP.

The Department of Education conducts fingerprinting and background checks through the Gemalto/3M corporation.
