The Marion County Board of Education will be signing up new substitute teachers, support workers, lunchroom workers, and bus drivers on Tuesday, July 9th and Monday, July 29th, 2019 from 8:00am to 3:30pm. The final day to sign up for the first semester will be Thursday, August 8th from 1:00pm to 3:15 pm. There will be no other days for the first semester.
Second semester sign-up days will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd and Wednesday, December 11th, 2019 from 8:30 to 3:00pm.
YOU MUST BRING YOUR DRIVER LICENSE, ORIGINAL SOCIAL SECURITY CARD WITH MATCHING LAST NAME, AND BANK DEPOSIT SLIP

ALL NEW SUBSTITUTE APPLICANTS MUST HAVE BEEN FINGERPRINTED AT LEAST ONE WEEK PRIOR TO SIGNING UP. ****Nearest fingerprint location to Hamilton is the Budget Rent to Own Store in Haleyville (see website for other locations)
The Department of Education conducts fingerprinting and background checks through the Gemalto/3M corporation.
